Greater Salem’s Youth Ministry took center stage not only in the sanctuary but also in fellowship and fun. The youth led an entire Sunday worship service with grace and confidence — from reading scripture to performing dramatic skits and serving as ushers. This leadership Sunday allowed young people to engage in ministry firsthand, developing public speaking skills, spiritual maturity, and a sense of responsibility for the church’s mission. The sanctuary was filled with joy and pride as parents, mentors, and peers witnessed the rising generation stepping boldly into their calling.
Outside of worship, the youth also enjoyed a dynamic fellowship experience with a bowling outing that mixed friendly competition with community bonding. This activity served as both a reward and a relationship-building opportunity. It reminded the young participants that church life includes joy, connection, and healthy recreation. These efforts reflect Greater Salem’s investment in developing youth holistically — spiritually, socially, and emotionally.
