The Nurses Ministry took the lead during February’s Health Focus month by offering free health screenings and educational materials after services. Members were able to get their blood pressure checked, learn about heart disease prevention, and receive COVID testing — all while engaging in conversations about overall wellness.
The ministry’s proactive approach to health embodies Greater Salem’s belief that spiritual and physical well-being go hand in hand. By partnering with healthcare professionals and equipping the congregation with resources, the church continues to demonstrate love in action through informed care.
